- Name: You may use any name of your choice. This will be displayed to other users.
- Biography: A short description about yourself.
- Birthday: For age verification purposes.
- Facial Images: Six images of your face (neutral, looking left, up, right, down, and smiling) for face recognition functionality.
You can also provide:
- Links: Will be displayed to user’s if they tap on your detected face.
Your facial images and their biometric data are used exclusively for enabling the face recognition core feature within the app.
4. Data Storage, Processing, and Security
Our approach to data storage and processing combines secure in-house management with the use of specialized third-party services:
- Supabase: Used for storing information related to user sessions, including authentication and authorization processes. Your phone number is stored here for authentication purposes.
- PlanetScale: Our main database hosted on PlanetScale includes several categories of user data:
- User Data: Comprising your name, bio (a short description about yourself), birthday, and links.
- Face Data References: References to data related to the faces are stored here.
- AWS S3: This service is utilized for storing the images of faces.
